CHEYENNE & ARAPAHO TRIBES EMERGENCY RESPONSE CENTERS

New Fire Native partnered with the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes to bring four new Emergency Response Centers to life in Oklahoma utilizing CARES Act money.

The Kingfisher Emergency Response Center is located on 2.5 acres with a new building which was constructed in the area of the previously demolished building. Spaces include a large, flexible use multipurpose room sized for a minimum of 50 people seated at tables, a media room/study hall sized to accommodate 10 seated at computer/study stations, a commercial kitchen to support Meals on Wheels and the multi-purpose room events, food pantry, clothing closet (Dress for Success), offices, restrooms, support spaces and storage rooms, as well as a safe room.

Similar in size and layout, the other Emergency Response Centers are located in Hammon, Watonga and Woodward.

New Fire Native is MBE certified and holds TERO, CESO or Preferred Vendor status with the Cherokee, Muscogee (Creek), Chickasaw and Choctaw Nations.
